Technical Manager of Al Khartoum SC Emmanuel Amuneke has said the Super Eagles face a tough test in the semi-final against a “determined” Sudan later on Wednesday.
Sudan and Nigeria clash in a semi-final match inside the Stade de Marrakech – where both sides will be hoping to reach their first ever final in the CHAN tournament.
In his analysis of the Falcons of Jediane, Amuneke told Babafemi Raji on Brila FM’s Sports Machine, that the Zdravko Logarusić-tutored side are a determined unit.
He said what they lacked in individual talents they make up for in ‘compactness and strength of play.’
The Ex Nigeria player and Coach expressed concerns about the Eagles tendency to be wasteful in front of goal and warned that profligacy or complacency could be the undoing of the team against Sudan.
Amuneke was appointed Manager of the Sudanese top flight club in 2017, two years after guiding the Eaglets to victory in the FIFA U17 World Cup.
