Kwara United’s technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo, has set his sights on clinching the 2024–25 NPFL title.
Reflecting on the recently concluded season, where Kwara United finished 13th, Dogo acknowledged the team’s underwhelming performance despite their potential.
The Harmony Boys managed only twelve wins, fifteen draws and lost eleven times.
“We have a lot of quality players in the squad capable of making a difference,” Dogo stated.
“If you look at the statistics from last season, the difference between us and the winners (Rangers) was the number of draws we had, which I was not happy with.”
Dogo expressed his determination to secure the title in the upcoming season, aiming to bring joy to the people of Kwara State.
He also praised the club’s management for their efforts to retain key players and for providing him with the autonomy to manage the team effectively.
“The main objective is to win the title next season and put smiles on the faces of the people of Kwara State,” Dogo affirmed.
“The management of Kwara United FC are doing everything possible to retain some quality players who can make a huge difference in the squad, and I must thank them for giving me free hands to manage the team.”
