Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Sunshine stars FC Kabir Dogo has stated that he is hopeful of a return to league football in Nigeria despite the current COVID-19 lockdown and the situation that has plagued the NPFL season and subsequently creating a lockdown.
Dogo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the current situation has been tough on everyone and telling on him as well as other players too but one that is beyond everyone.
He, however, added that he is sure this phase will pass and football will be back and better.
“This time around, everything just stands still so, therefore, it’s making it difficult for us. So It’s really telling on us but we don’t have any power. We pray God should take control over everything. I know that everything will pass it’s just a matter of time.”
