Moses Simon and his Nantes team mates were treated to Angel Di Maria’s masterclass in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League round of 32 clash on Thursday.
The Nigerian was in action for Seventy-seven minutes, and he completed 22, but had zero shot on target.
Meanwhile, the Di Maria scored a stunning hat-trick at the Stade de la Beaujoire to send Simon and his teammates packing from the tournament.
Recall the first leg in Turin ended 1-1, with Nantes confident of completing the upset in front of their passionate fans.
But, the dream started falling apart with just five minutes into the game when Di Maria opened the scoring with a stunning finish from the edge of the box.
Nantes however were reduced to 10 men five minutes later, and Juventus then took advantage with the Argentine slotting in the resulting penalty.
The World Cup winner completed his hat-trick with 12 minutes left on the clock to send the Old Lady to the next round with a 4-1 aggregate win.
