Cyriel Dessers maintains optimism amidst recent challenges as the team strives to end the season on a positive note.
Despite a setback in their pursuit of the Scottish Premiership title, Dessers and his teammates remain determined to finish strong.
The Rangers’ hopes of clinching the league title took a significant blow following their defeat to arch-rivals Celtic in Sunday’s Old Firm derby.
With this loss, the Gers now trail Celtic by six points in the title race, putting their chances of securing silverware solely on the Scottish Cup.
Despite the disappointment, Dessers says Rangers will give their all in the remaining fixtures of the season.
“We need to find some new energy after a difficult weekend, but I think we have got it in us and we have everything to play for in the cup final,” Dessers said ahead of Tuesday’s game against Dundee United.
“We know what we can do in the cup final against this team.
“I am sure this team has the experience, been in difficult moments before, been in big games before, been in finals before. We have to take that experience and switch it.”
“I think that shows that you are a real champion or a really big player you have to see how you react to losing and switch the button and go again hard for the cup final.”
The Gers set to face Dundee today at Ibrox in their final home fixture ahead of the Scottish Cup final on May 25.
