Super Eagles of Nigeria star Cyriel Dessers is really delighted with his debut for Genk in the Belgian Jupiler league on Sunday.
Dessers made his first competitive appearance for Gent against Zulte-Waregem on Sunday after joining from Heracles for €5m last April.
Dessers and his compatriot Onuachu scored in the second half to seal all three points after Olivier Deschacht gave Zulte Waregem undeserved lead in the first half.
The victory gave Hannes Wolf’s men the needed three points at Regenboostadion and moved them to the top of the Belgium Pro League table.
While reacting to the debut goal he scored, Dessers wrote on his that’s he’s happy and delighted.
“First win and official goal for @KRCGenkofficial, and a nice comeback from the team.” He wrote on his account.
Cyriel Dessers will hope to continue his good form for the club in the coming matches.
