Cyriel Dessers is delighted to be on the scoresheet for Feyenoord against Partizan Belgrade in the UEFA Conference League.
The Nigerian international was handed first start in three months by Coach Arse Slot and he scored an equaliser for Feyenoord.
The goal changed the complexity of the game and Feyenoord scored three more to win the game.
In a chat with the media, Dessers says he’s happy with hit the target and he’s hoping to start more games for the Club.
“It was not my most beautiful goal, but it was a good moment. It was an important goal, because after that equalizer, the team calmed down.”
“I always say: if the ugly goals go in, the beautiful ones will come back by themselves.”
“This is my first starting position in three months. I think I have done reasonably well physically and also footballingly.”

The 25-year-old signed for Feyenoord on loan from KRC Genk.
The Dutch Eredivisie giants has the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the Season.
