Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis is delighted to have won the Belgian top-flight for the second time with Club Brugge.
Brugge were awarded the title on Friday after the country’s Pro League confirmed last month’s decision to bring the season to a halt in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Blue-Black had held an unassailable 15-point lead over the chasing park going into the final round of matches of the regular season.
Dennis won his first title with Brugge in the 2017/18 season.
He has taken to social media to celebrate another successful campaign.
“Champion of Belgium 2019/2020 The first time was nice I had to do it twice 🏆 🏆 B L E S S ED ✊🏽❤️,” Dennis wrote on his Twitter handle.
The 22-year-old scored five goals in 20 league appearances for Club Brugge this season.
