Falcons coach Dennerby warns France to expect stern test against Nigeria

Coach of Nigeria’s women national team Thomas Dennerby has warned the French women, national team, to expect a different challenge from the Super Falcons of Nigeria ahead of today’s meeting between both sides in the final group stage clash between both teams.

Dennerby said this in a chat gathered by www.brila.net that the French ladies shouldn’t expect this to be like the international friendly between both countries where Nigeria got hammered 8-0 but that a lot has happened since then and that scoreline happened also because it was the first meeting between him and the players after having been without a game for over a year.
“Definitely it will be a different game, that was the first game for about a year and definitely a lot has happened since that time. So I can promise that we will at least fight so much harder and be better organized today than we were at that game.
Hopefully, we can give them a tough game and leave with a win or at least a point when we leave the stadium.”
Nigeria is fighting for qualification going to this game while France, on the other hand, will be home and dry as group winner with a point.
