Tosin Demehin is confident the Super Falcons will put in a better performance against the United States of America when both sides meet for the second time later this evening.
The African giants lost 4-0 to the World Champions in the first clash at Kansas City last weekend.
The defeat means the eight-time African Champions have now gone eight games without drawing or winning against the Americans.
Speaking ahead of the second friendly scheduled for Washington DC later tonight, Demehin said the team has learned from the first defeat, adding that they’ll correct their mistakes in the next game.
“Playing against the best in the world is not an easy task. It’s a privilege and rare opportunity for young players like us, which we are happy to be part of.
“In the first game, there were many errors, and going into the second game, we have to do better and I’m sure we’ll have the confidence to do it.” She told NFF TV
Demehin captained the Falconets to the just concluded FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
