Nigerian midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru made his competitive debut for Lazio in their Serie A match against Venezia on Sunday, featuring prominently in the starting lineup and playing the full 90 minutes.

The 23 year-old, who joined Lazio from Hatayspor on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy, delivered a solid performance.

Dele-Bashiru attempted three shots on goal and completed four successful dribbles, showcasing the form that saw him shine in the Turkish Super Lig last season, where he scored nine goals and registered six assists.

Lazio secured a convincing 3-1 win, kicking off their Serie A campaign on a high note.
