Odion Ighalo was in action for Al Hilal in the Asian Champions League clash against Al Rayyan in the final group A clash at the Prince Faisal Fahd Stadium on Wednesday.
However Ighalo and his teammates could not make home advantage count as they lost 2-0 to the visitors from Qatar.
Al Hilal endured a poor start to the clash when South Korean defender Jang Hyun-soo diverted a cross into his own net in the 5th minute.
The visitors got a second, Yohan Boli sunk the hearts of the home fans two minutes before the break with a clinical effort.
In the second-half, the hosts dominated the possession and attempted 25 shots — with only four hitting the target – but none of them beat the goalkeeper.
However the defeat was inconsequential as Al Hilal qualified for the round of 16 as the Group winners.
