Dede, Jegede Among Former Super Falcons Who Bagged CAF C-License

Thirty women coaches, including former Nigerian internationals, have finished the first of three modules in the CAF C-License program held in Abuja.

Dr. Terry Babatunde Eguaoje, the NFF’s Head of Education, is one of the coach educators, along with Coaches Isah Ladan Bosso, Wemimo Olanrewaju, and Lanrence Ndaks who led the group.

It was a demanding week of classroom and hands-on activities as an introduction to the content of the upcoming two modules.

The course involves practical sessions of two-week internships with various teams which the candidates are preparing for.

NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, stated that the participants are eager to learn and conduct throughout the module.

“I am very much impressed with their attitude, mannerisms, and conduct through the first module. They impressed everyone, and the coach educators also told me they were impressed, and are looking forward to having them back for the second and concluding modules,” Eguavoen said.

The next module is scheduled for August 12-20, followed by another internship, with the final module and exams taking place from September 9-19.

Former Super Falcons players such as Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, Esther Michael, Maureen Eke, Otas Ogbonmwan, Vera Okolo, Cecilia Nku, Taiwo Ajobiewe, Gloria Ofoegbu, and Amenze Aighewi are among the 30 participants in the training.

There’s also Barr. Victoria Nlemigbo and retired FIFA referee Folusho Ajayi.
