Midfielder, Dayo Ojo is set to remain at Remo Stars after talks with Shooting Stars broke down.
Ojo’s contract with Remo Stars expired at the end of last season, and he was ready to explore Free agency.
He held talks with representatives of Shooting Stars and it seemed like the deal would go through until things changed with Remo Stars; he returned to the negotiation table.
Remo Stars, according to reports, offered an improved contract, better than what he received from Shooting Stars.
Following the latest twist, Ojo is now set to stay put at Remo Stars and will sign a new two-year deal.
The former Sunshine Stars and Enyimba player joined the club two years ago and helped them qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, and was a member of the team that picked the Champions League ticket last season.
