Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls Washington Wizards hosted bottom-of-the-conference Cleveland Cavaliers at the Capital One Arena on Friday night and looked poised to improve their 20-33 record.
Wizards had the backing of a 20,356 capacity arena behind them and a special guest court side, Nigerian Singer and music producer Davido.
Davido’s presence inside the Arena was announced during the game, the Soul Train Awards nominee and BET Award Winner appearing on the huge screen handing from the roof.
The Atlanta born Afrobeats Star was spotting a black Versace jacket, black shirt and same colored beanie.
However, the ‘Blow My Mind’ crooner couldn’t sprinkle his magic on Scott Brooks’ side as they fell by 108-133; the visitors putting on a show in the fourth quarter to cancel out a six points third quarter deficit.

Bradley Beal scored a game high 26 points, knocking down 9/28 of Field Goals Attempted. He also could only manage to sink one trey of the 10 attempted.
It was Collin Sexton’s Chivalry though that’ll pull the Cavaliers through, scoring 25 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
The defeat leaves Wizards third in the Southeast Division, behind Miami Heat and Orlando Magic respectively. They remain 9th in the Conference, with Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks leading the pack.
