Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers is urging his teammates to step up their performance ahead of their upcoming Europa League clash against Malmo.
The Gers are set to face the Swedish champions in their opening game of the Europa League season.
The Scottish side heads into the fixture on the back of a convincing 3-0 victory over Dundee United in the League Cup, which Dessers believes will provide a morale boost.
“Malmo away is not an easy start, but these are the types of games you want to play in Europe,” Dessers said ahead of the match.
“I think the win over Dundee can give us some confidence, a boost, and hopefully we can put in a good performance and get the win.”
Dessers has seven goals and two assists in nine games for Rangers across all competitions this season.
Malmo FC, meanwhile, have been in strong form, losing just once in their last eight league matches.
