Nigeria’s Junior Female Yellow Greens delivered a commanding seven-wicket victory over Scotland on Wednesday, wrapping up their preparations for the 2025 ICC Women’s U-19 World Cup in emphatic style.
The warm-up match, held at the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, showcased Nigeria’s readiness to compete on the global stage.
Clinical Bowling Display
After winning the toss and electing to field, the Nigerian side, led by captain Lucky Piety, restricted Scotland to a modest 62 runs in 18.2 overs.
Lillian Ude spearheaded the bowling attack with a stunning three-wicket haul, while Shola Adekunle claimed two wickets.
Kehinde Amusa, Peace Usen, and captain Piety chipped in with a wicket each, dismantling the Scots’ batting lineup.
