Former Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has urged Nigerians and everyone in the world to stay at home in order to be safe from the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.
In a telephone chat with brila.net, Ighalo said a word of prayer for everyone who has lost their loved ones to the pandemic hoping that God comforts these ones.
“My prayer goes to the world, all those who have lost their loved ones due to this virus, The lord is their strength and to those who are not affected yet, please stay indoors, stay at home to be safe.
“The goal is to stay safe so that we come back together and do what e know how to do best.
“When you are safe and when you are alive is when we can come back together to do what we know how to do best, I know the lockdown is not easy, but try to be safe, the goal is to be safe. He concluded.
With the Premier League halted due to the coronavirus crisis, Ighalo’s loan deal with Manchester United looks set to be extended beyond May 31.
