Napoli manager Antonio Conte has emphasized the importance of Victor Osimhen’s continued hard work despite the ongoing uncertainty regarding his future at the club.

Osimhen had previously reached an agreement with Napoli to depart this summer, contingent upon any interested club meeting his €130 million release clause.

However, no European club has yet indicated a willingness to pay the hefty fee.

Conte expressed his uncertainty about where the Nigerian forward will be playing next season.

“I spoke to Victor and there are no changes in his situation. He’s a top player,” Conte stated, as reported by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.

“He’s a Napoli player today, so he needs to work hard, even though we have an agreement [for his potential exit] and still do not know the outcome of this story.”
