Confluence Queens assistant coach, Sabo Okala has described the round leather game as “unpredictable” following his side’s 1-1 draw at home to Adamawa Queens in the matchday seven of the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL).
A late strike from Marvellous Duru cancelled out Paulinus Ifeoma’s goal as ten-woman Adamawa Queens earned a priceless point in the Group B encounter at the Confluence Stadium on Wednesday 10th May.
Okala hailed the performance of the team but stated that football is unpredictable.
“Football at times could be an unpredictable affair. I don’t like apportioning blames,” the former Niger Tornadoes defender said.
“We will go back to the drawing board, put measures in place and make necessary corrections.”
“Goal scoring is a scientific process, the more you practice the more you get used to it. We have taken points on the road, so there is nothing bad if others do same. We are going to make some adjustments and move on,” he added.
The Lokoja based outfit will be on the road to Adamawa Queens in the week eight of the top flight on June 7th, 2017.
