The star of the match was Adjoua Rolande N’Guessan, who scored a brilliant hat-trick to propel the Ivorians to an emphatic win.
Zea Alimatou Kone and Awa Ambeu also found the back of the net, completing the comprehensive victory.
This win, coupled with Nigeria’s dominant 9-0 triumph over Niger, has set up a high-stakes final group game between the two teams on December 16.
