Head Coach of COAS Shooters handball club, Emeka Nnamani has expressed readiness to fight for the league title, as the second phase is set to get underway.
Nnamani told brila.net that his team have trained, ‘intensively’ and will chase the league crown from the serve off on October 4.
“Our performance in the first stage was not so good but we have had intense preparation since then,” said the Coach.
“With what we have on ground, I believe our performance will be better than the 1st phase of the league. My target is to finish among the first four teams in the league because.”
The Nigeria Handball league which is in its second season comprise of 12 teams in the men’s league and 10 teams in the women’s league.
The first phase ended with Kano Pillars and Safety Babes on top of the male and female league.
