Club Brugge has rejected a substantial offer from Turkish football giants, Galatasaray, for their Nigerian midfielder, Raphael Onyedika.

Galatasaray reportedly proposed a €15 million deal for the 22-year-old, but Club Brugge swiftly turned down the bid.

The Super Lig side’s proposal involved an initial loan of €3 million for Onyedika, followed by an additional €12 million for a permanent transfer.

However, Club Brugge remains unwavering in their decision to retain the midfielder, who joined them from Danish club FC Midtjylland two years ago for approximately €6 million.

Onyedika has impressed since his arrival at Club Brugge, with 18 league games under his belt this season, he continues to be a pivotal player for the Blue and Black.

Club Brugge’s management expressed satisfaction with Onyedika’s performance, affirming that he is a key part of their long-term plans.

Despite the lure of Galatasaray’s offer, the Belgian club is adamant about not parting ways with the talented midfielder in the near future.
