Rangers manager Philippe Clement has praised Cyriel Dessers, noting that the player is gradually becoming more valuable to the team.
Dessers has silenced his critics with an impressive display for Rangers, scoring twice in their 6-0 victory over Ross County in the Scottish Premier League.
The Nigerian forward, who had previously faced criticism, now has 5 goals in 6 games this season and 12 goals in his last 16 Premiership starts.
“It’s clear [Dessers] is taking the right steps and becoming more and more important. He’s growing as a player, that’s what we want,” Clement remarked.
The Nigerian forward will now look to deliver in a crucial match next Sunday, as Rangers face Celtic in the upcoming derby.
