Holders Manchester United have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the quarter-final by Championship side Bristol City.
City snatched a late winner in a dramatic, tension-soaked game on Wednesday night.
United had come from behind through a Zlatan Ibrahimovic free kick but, Jose Mourinho’s side were destined for a shocker when the winner struck.
In the other match played, Mourinho’s former team, Chelsea themselves snatched a late winner against Bournemouth with the scores at 1-1 on the stroke of 90 minutes.
Substitute Alvaro Morata scored in additional time (90+2′) to help the Blues progress to the semis.
In other news, relegation battling Premier League club Swansea City announced the sack of the Manager, Paul Clement.
