Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was Nigeria’s best performing player across Europe’s top five leagues in the month of September according to The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).
Simon, who is on loan at Ligue Un side Nantes, out-performed Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Tammy Abraham based on CIES data.
CIES Football Observatory stated it applies a unique approach to “rate players on a match-by-match basis by taking into account the pitch production and efficiency at both individual and collective level (methodology).”
In September, Moses Simon made four league appearances for Nantes; the club lost just one game.
