Samuel Chukwueze put on an impressive display as AC Milan cruised to a 3-0 victory over 10-man Lecce at the San Siro, extending their winning streak to seven games across all competitions.

The match also saw contributions from Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud, and Rafael Leao.

The encounter started with Joan Gonzalez narrowly missing the target from the edge of the box for Lecce.

However, it was Milan who broke the deadlock, when Chukwueze paced down the right flank before delivering a precise pass to Pulisic.

The American international calmly took a touch before curling a left-footed shot into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with no chance.

Pulisic continued to threaten the Lecce defense, testing Falcone with both a header and a cross-shot shortly after his goal.

Chukwueze’s influence on the game was evident once again when his run set up Rafael Leao, whose subsequent shot was deflected onto the side-netting.

Milan doubled their lead before halftime through Olivier Giroud.

Although the French striker mistimed his header from a Yacine Adli corner, he managed to redirect the ball into the net off his shoulder, ending his five-game goal drought in the league.

Lecce’s task was made even more challenging when they were reduced to 10 men.

Nikola Krstovic was shown a straight red card for a high boot that caught Chukwueze in the ribs.

While the challenge appeared to be accidental, the referee deemed it dangerous enough to warrant a sending off.
