Chukwueze Might Hack It At AC Milan, But The Winger Is Running Out Of Time

Two goals and three assists in 32 League appearances for a Wide Attacker is a bust profile by any stretch of the imagination, and Samuel Chukwueze knows his performance against Udinese, buys him only a small reprieve.

Chukwueze got a rare start for AC Milan in Saturday’s Serie A clash at the Giuseppe Meazza against Udinese.

It was his 8th league appearance and third start under new Milan boss, Paulo Fonseca.

The Nigerian had flattered in pre-season, and bore a semblance of the player Rossoneri forked out €20million for two summers ago.

However, his critics would say the shirt appears heavier and the goalpost blurry when it matters.

Nonetheless, Fonseca has repeatedly thrown his arms around the player and will give Chukwueze time to prove he’s no flop.

However, the youngster is back to he benh and is designated to start from the bench when the Rossoneri host Belgian champions, Club Brugge in Tuesday’s UCL fixture.

Maduka Okoye’s Growing Pains

Meanwhile, Maduka Okoye returned between the sticks for Udinese after a difficult week on international duty with Nigeria.

The pain persisted as Okoye shipped in another goal – his 11th this season in 8 league games.

It was his compatriot and national teammate who handed Udinese the blow, and the defeat inflicted the Bianconeri with their third league defeat.
