AC Milan’s forward, Samuel Chukwueze has recovered from the injury he sustained during the international break with the Nigeria and could be available for Saturday’s Serie A fixture against Udinese.

The 25-year-old featured in Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Libya in the AFCON qualifiers but returned to Italy early after picking up a knock during the match.

Chukwueze was not part of the Nigerian squad that was briefly detained by Libyan authorities following the game.

Reports in Italy confirm that the winger has been declared fit and is in contention for the weekend match.

So far this season, Chukwueze has started two league games and made five appearances off the bench for Milan.

There is growing speculation that Milan manager Paulo Fonseca may reshuffle his lineup, potentially dropping Rafael Leao and Tammy Abraham to the bench.

This could see Chukwueze starting on the right wing, with Noah Okafor also brought in and Christian Pulisic playing a more central role behind the strikers.

Chukwueze’s last appearance for AC Milan came in their 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina on October 6, where he played just eight minutes as a substitute.
