Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has dropped a hint at himself making a likely return to the La Liga in future.
That is the latest development with the Belgian star who has admitted that he sees his immediate future in Spain.
And that is particularly more as a result of reasons solely ranging on issues affecting his young and growing family.
Meanwhile, Courtois has reportedly made a whopping demand of about £205k-a-week salary from the reigning champions of the Premier League.
The Belgian goaltender has told the club he wants such amount a week for him to pen a fresh deal.
Courtois has, however, revealed that he actually has high hopes of signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge pretty soon.
The Belgian says this is what he wants as a reward for helping Chelsea to last season’s Premier League title.
Courtois went away with the Premier League Golden Glove award after his 16 clean sheets during the 2016/17 title-winning season.
The 25-year-old has been a top member of the Blues’ squad since the summer of the year 2011.
And he also has an existing deal with the West London outfit at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2019.
Despite that, though, Real Madrid have reportedly had a keen interest in luring him away from Chelsea to the Bernabeu.
The Blues would reportedly instead choose to let Courtois’s contract grind to an end than sell him to Los Blancos.
But the Belgian has reiterated the fact that Spain is his immediate future destination when it is time to depart.
“Everybody knows that due to my personal situation, Spain attracts me, if it is not now, it will be later.” the shot-stopper informed LaSexta
