Charity Reuben Leaves Bayelsa Queens for Al Ahly

Nigeria International, Charity Reuben has officially joined Egyptian women’s football club, Al Ahly.

Charity completed the move from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Bayelsa Queens.

In order to meet CAF Champions League requirements, Al Ahly female team was recently formed, as part of the requirements to participate in regional African tournaments.

This means the striker enters the Club’s history books as the first set of players to debut for the historic Franchise in the competition.

The 23 year-old forward was a key part of the Bayelsa Queens team that finished third last season, in the NWFL.

Charity Reuben has also previously played for Ibom Angels and represented Nigeria at the U20 level.

In 2017, Charity won the golden boot after scoring an historic eight goals in the NWFL.
