CHAN 2018: Home based Eagles arrives Nigeria (Video)

The home-based Super Eagles have arrived in the country following their participation at the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco where they won the silver medal.

The Salisu Yusuf’s led-team came second in the tournament after losing in a heavy 4-0 defeat to hosts Morocco in the final on Sunday in Casablanca.
The players and Officials touched down at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos at about 3:45 am on Tuesday via an Air Maroc flight.
The Super Eagles team was led by the chairman, Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ahmed Yusuf and other members of the Executive Committee that includes Imama Amapakabo.
They were received on arrival by members of the Nigeria Football Supporters club who laid siege at the airport all night to welcome them back to the country.
The team is expected to be hosted by the presidency in Abuja on Wednesday.
