Turkish TFF 1. League side Çaykur Rizespor has announced the arrival of Nigerian winger Ibrahim Olawoyin from Ankrab Keçiörengücü.

According to a statement released by Rizespor, both clubs reached a deal in principle few days ago, and officially the Player’s move was completed this Monday.

Olawoyin participated in Rizespor’s training camp in Antalya and he’s expected to hit the ground running at the club.

In his reaction, Olawoyin said, he’s happy to start a new adventure.

“Excited to start this new challenge with Çaykur Rizespor. Hoping to bring smiles to the faces of our dear fans and help the team achieve more than its aspirations,” He posted on his social media account.

The former Rangers star made 17 league appearances for Ankrab Keçiörengücü in the Turkish second division, recording four goals and seven assists.
