Cardiff City set to battle Crystal Palace for Chelsea’s Victor Moses

English Premier League strugglers Cardiff City have reportedly entered the race to sign Victor Moses from Chelsea this month ahead of Crystal Palace.

The Nigerian international has been linked with several clubs in recent times as his future at Stamford Bridge continues to be placed under scrutiny.

Following Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as the club’s first-team manager, the versatile right-back has struggled to secure regular game-time, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Davide Zappacosta ahead of him in the pecking order.

This has led to speculation regarding a potential move away from West London in the January transfer window.

Crystal Palace had been previously linked with a swoop to sign Moses but according to fresh claims from Wales Online, Neil Warnock’s Cardiff side have expressed an interest.

It is reported that after missing out on a loan deal for Nathaniel Clyne recently, the Bluebirds have turned their attention towards securing a move for the Chelsea star on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
