Super Eagles interim coach, Austin Eguavoen addressed the players in camp shortly after his arrival on Monday night.
Currently, 11 players are in camp, with others expected to join today.
Eguavoen’s assistants, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede, also arrived in camp last night to support the team’s preparations.

Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Maduka Okoye, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Raphael Onyedika, Frank Onyeka, and Hassan Yusuf.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has selected Tomaz Zorec as the fitness coach for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda this month.
Additionally, match analyst Eboboritse Uwejamomere and coaches Fidelis Ilechukwu of Enugu Rangers and Daniel Ogunmodede of Remo Stars have been

appointed to assist him for these crucial matches.
Expressing his gratitude, Ilechukwu, coach of Rangers International, wrote on his X page.

The Super Eagles will kick off their AFCON qualifiers campaign on September 7 against Benin Republic in Uyo.
