Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi is fired up for the Nigeria’s ‘biggest game yet’ at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and wants to see an improvement from the team when they face Cameroon on Thursday.
The Super Falcons reached the last eight of the 2022 WAFCON as runner-up, behind South Africa’s Banyana Banyana.
The nine time winner are set to take on bitter rivals Cameroon, Thursday, at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
Winner of the tie will proceed to the last four of the tournament and pick one of the available 2023 FIFA World Cup tickets.
Ebi said, the team will continue to grow and eagerly looks forward to an improved outing against the Indomitable Lioness.
‘We’ve crossed the first stage of the competition, we keep growing stronger and looking forward to more improved performance and aiming for our goal,’ the 39-year-old mentioned in a tweet.
