Edo Queens continued their impressive run in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers with a 1-0 victory over AO Etincelles of Burkina Faso.

The crucial goal came just four minutes before half-time courtesy of Joy Jerry, securing Edo Queens’ place in the semi-finals.

Under the guidance of head coach Moses Adukwu, the Nigerian Champions have yet to concede a goal in the tournament, showcasing a formidable defense.

The team have also been prolific in attack, netting nine goals throughout the competition.

Next up for the Nigerian side is a clash against hosts FC Inter d’Abidjan, while the Beninoise side Ainonvi FC will take on AO Etincelles in the other last-four encounter.
