WAFU B champions, Edo Queens, will learn their group-stage opponents today during the official draw for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The draw, organized by the Confederation of African Football, will take place at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco, at 12h00 local time (11h00 GMT).
This year marks the fourth edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League, which is scheduled to be held from November 9 to 23, 2024, in Morocco.
The event will be broadcast live on CAF’s digital platforms, including YouTube, and on partner networks.
Edo Queens, making their debut in the tournament, will join four other first-time participants: Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBE FC (Ethiopia).
They will compete alongside defending champions ASFAR (Morocco), two-time winners Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo), who are returning after missing last year’s edition.
