Head of CAF safety and security Unit Christian Emeruwa has revealed why referees’ officiating the league in Nigeria are being exposed to danger.
Dr. Emeruwa stated in a chat with www.brila.net that the situation whereby a referee is being paid his match indemnity by the home team is a way of exposing the said referee to dangers because, he will not be fair with his officiating and if he does otherwise, can lead to angry actions from the fans.
