The Nigerian side entered the competition in the Second Round due to their strong performance last season, where they reached the quarter-finals.

Etoile Filante advanced to the second round after defeating Casa Ziguiqor in the first round.

The second leg will be held at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt next week.
