Enyimba International were demolished by Congo’s CARA Brazzaville 3-0 in a CAF Confederation Cup Group C match in far away Brazzaville.
The win takes host CARA to the top of the group as they have scored more goals than the former Champions, Enyimba.
CARA took the lead after 14 minutes through Racines Louamba off a rebound.
They doubled their advantage three minutes later through Cabwey Kivutuka, whose shot from the top of the box beat Ghanaian goalkeeper Fatai Dauda.
They then netted the third goal in the 19th-minute courtesy Dicha Lima.
Enyimba were a lot more disciplined and organised after the break, but they could not pull a goal back.
