Caf’s Extraordinary General Assembly on Friday have recommended an age limit of 70 for any elective position in its Executive Committee.
The age limit recommendation was deliberated at the an Extra-Ordinary General Assembly on Friday after a series of reform were put forward at an earlier symposium in Rabat Morocco.

CAF President, Ahmad had promised extensive reforms in his manifesto at the March 16 election, where he beat 70-year-old Issa Hayatou at the polls.
Africa’s football chiefs had also decided on the expansion of the Cup of Nations to 24 teams from 16.
They also agreed on a shift from the traditional January-February to June-July for the Afcon.
Meanwhile, the Assembly will delibrate on the appointment of three Vice-Presidents from its current two.
Currently, Ghana’s Kwesi Nyantakyi and DR Congo’s Constant Omari Selemani are the 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents respectively.
