The first round of qualifiers is scheduled for the weekends of October 25–27 and November 1–3, 2024. The second round will follow from December 20–22 and December 27–29, 2024.
Since its inception in 2009, the CHAN tournament has provided an exceptional platform to showcase the immense talent in African football and its dynamic, evolving landscape.
For Nigeria, the CHAN Eagles will be led by head coach Augustine Eguavoen, assisted by Daniel Ogunmodede, Fidelis Ilechukwu, and others.
Nigeria has participated three times, but yet to win the tournament, with their best performance being as runner-up in 2018.
After missing out on qualification in both 2020 and 2022, the team is eager to make a strong comeback in 2024, ending a four-year absence from the tournament.
