Burton manager Dino Maamria is proud of his Nigerian imports, Victor Adeboyejo and Deji Oshilaja, after the duo guided the club to the fifth round of English FA Cup.
Oshilaja and Adeboyejo were impressive in the 6-1 win over Chippenham on Sunday.
Oshilaja scored a brace, but Adeboyejo who also performed excellently well had two goals ruled out for offside.
“I’d have liked to be six-up in the first half because I thought our first half was excellent. I was disappointed the third didn’t count as Victor was onside.” Maamria told BBC after the game.
“Our preparation for this game was excellent. We’re playing against a team from lower down, that beat Lincoln before. I went to watch them, we did our homework on every player in the squad, we shared it with our players and I thought our players equipped themselves really well.
The gaffer also has good words for two goals hero, Oshilaja who also assisted another goal.
“Deji Oshilaja was outstanding, not just his goals, he was the whole week, and to have those players in your camp, you know you’re in a good place. He concluded.
