Nigerian defender, Bruno Onyemaechi found the back of the net for Boavista during their 2-2 draw against Estrela in the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Monday night.
Boavista are now four games without a win, having lost two and drawn two of their last fixtures.
Onyemaechi opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, giving his team an early lead.
However, former Manchester United winger Nani brought Estrela level with a goal in the 34th minute.
The visitors regained the lead in stoppage time of the first half, thanks to Ilija Vukotic,.
After the resumption, Estrela equalised again through Kikas in the 68th minute, leaving both teams to share the spoils.
Meanwhile, Bruno Onyemaechi was a starter for Nigeria during international duties in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The full back helped Nigeria secure a 3-0 victory over Benin in Uyo, and was part of the squad that played out a goalless draw with Rwanda in Kigali.
