Nigeria’s only Sports Radio, 88.9 Brila FM has bagged a special recognition award at the second edition of the Nigeria Women Football League Awards for 2019.

In other categories, Obidinma Nkiruka of Adamawa Queens was named GoalKeeper of the season while Alexandra Florence of Confluence Queens emerged Defender of the Season. Patience Adjetey of Delta Queens was named Midfielder of the Season.

 

Other awards include: Ruth Okafor from Lagos State (Referee of the Season), Mr. Moses Bako Nagogo (Special Recognition Award), Hassan Suliat of Moje Queens (NWFL Pro-League Player of the season), and Aishat Yusuf Arowolo (Special Recognition).
