Bright Silas reveals Rangers target in CAF Confederations Cup

Enugu Rangers’s Bright Silas has disclosed that his team aren’t getting carried away by their remarkable performance in the CAF Confederations Cup so far but have set their sights on a place in the group stage of competition.

Silas scored two twice at Nnamdi Azikwe stadium on Sunday to lead the Flying Antelopes to victory over Algerian side USM Abbes after the first leg ended without a goal.

 

Rangers International are unbeaten in the competition so far , winning three of the four games they have played so far , But Silas has insists the Gbenga Ogunbote’s side are not getting complacent but believes they have what it takes make it to the group stage of the competition.

 

“I want to say that we are not afraid of any team and that we are targeting a place in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup,” he said.

 

“I am grateful that God helped me to achieve something in only my first game for them on the continent. I hope to do better in subsequent games. We are waiting for our next opponents because we know that we are going to be victorious again.”

 

The draw for the final preliminary round Will hold on Friday at the CAF headquarters in Cairo Egypt.
