The NFF has officially confirmed that the Super Eagles will participate in the Unity Cup, a tournament that had been on hiatus for several years.
The confirmation came via an official communique released on Thursday, stating that Nigeria will join Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago in the tournament.
The 17,250-capacity Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, will host the tournament, which is scheduled to run in the final days of May 2025.
The competition will kick off on Tuesday, 27th May with Trinidad & Tobago facing Jamaica.
A day later, Nigeria and arch-rivals Ghana will clash in a fixture that brings back the heat of a rivalry that has lasted 74 years.
The tournament will wrap up on Saturday, 31st May, with the losers of the two semi-final matches contesting the third-place game. The final will follow shortly after, where the winner will be crowned champions.
The Unity Cup will serve as an important test for Nigeria ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa later in the year.
