Wolverhampton Wanderers and Super Eagles first choice Goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme has beaten Cancer after revealing that his cancer is in “complete remission.”
Ikeme shared the news via his Twitter handle, tweeting; “After a year of intense chemotherapy I would like to share that I am in complete REMISSION.”

The 32-year-old Goalkeeper has been battling acute leukaemia which made him sit out of the Super Eagles World Cup and Wolves squad.
Ahead of the Group D game on Friday, Iceland players sent their best wishes to Ikeme, with Ikeme’s name imprinted on the number 1 jersey of Iceland.
The Super Eagles won the game, 2:0, thanks to pacy forward Ahmed Musa, who scored both goals.
