Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is poised to join Turkish club Galatasaray after an agreement was reached with his current club, Napoli.

Osimhen will spend the remainder of the 2024-2025 season with the Turkish side.

The 25-year-old Nigeria international is expected to earn €11 million per season from the move, while Napoli will receive a €9 million loan fee.

Osimhen’s transfer saga has been marked by setbacks, including a failed move to Chelsea just before the English transfer window closed, and a missed opportunity to join Saudi Arabian team Al-Ahli.

Napoli has confirmed that Osimhen will not be reintegrated into their squad following the protracted transfer negotiations, which saw Romelu Lukaku brought in as a replacement.

The final decision now rests with Osimhen on whether he will approve the move to Galatasaray.
